January 15, 2007: Sarasota, Florida.

Our New Year's Resolution: Set the sun over the ocean. East Coasters (with the exception of those living here on the Gulf side of Florida) don't know what they're missing. This resolution means that this year we must, alas, return to the West Coast.

Oddly enough, there are a couple of first-rate art museums here. This is Dali's “Gala Contemplating the Mediterranean Sea, which at 30 meters becomes the portrait of Abraham Lincoln (Homage to Rothko)” from about 8 meters.

We will soon be taking a side-trip from our RVing and flying to Nicaragua to see our friend Adam. Then we'll be back on the road to leave Florida and the winter behind us. Check back for more updates in a month or so as we zig zag our way back to Cali.
