October 7, 2006: Bar Harbor, Maine.

We are now official USA crossers. We logged 7,500 miles from the Southwest to the Northeast. Mapquest says the distance is only 3,200 miles, so it seems we took the scenic route.

Lorry and Karin Widger (Thom's dad and his wife) moved to Bangor recently, and the four of us drove out to the coast for the day to see Acadia National Park.
